With over 15 years of experience in organizational and human capital strategy, Ashleigh has partnered with nonprofits and school districts across diverse urban and rural settings throughout the United States. She began her career as a classroom teacher in South Carolina, before joining TNTP, where she developed recruitment and selection strategies and influenced policy to ensure the hiring of highly effective teachers serving over 110,000 students Memphis City and Shelby County Schools. In this role, Ashleigh worked closely with district leadership to implement comprehensive organizational and talent strategies, including workforce planning and compensation reform for Tennessee’s lowest-performing schools.

Prior to founding Versa Impact Group, Ashleigh worked with FUSE Corps, partnering with city and county administrators across several major U.S. cities and counties, including Los Angeles County, CA; San Francisco, CA; Washington, D.C.; and Durham, NC to launch city and county-wide initiatives to narrow racial, economic, and social disparities within historically underserved communities. Notably, Ashleigh also served as the Executive Director of Recruitment and Talent Management for San Antonio ISD in Texas, where she developed and led a comprehensive talent management strategy to attract, hire, and retain top talent for the district’s 40,000+ students.

Now, as the founder and Lead Consultant at Versa Impact Group, Ashleigh partners with organizations to develop strategic plans, measure impact, and establish systems and processes that operationalize their mission-driven goals. Ashleigh is also the proud mother of a son in college and a devoted dog mom to Stax, named after the iconic Stax Recording Studio in Memphis—a cornerstone of music history.

Outside of her professional work, Ashleigh enjoys staying active, acting, and honing her singing skills with her vocal coach.
